There's a clear analogy. The UK education sector is a crowd of people stood on a beach. The wind just blew sand in their eyes and the temporary loss of vision has hidden the fact that the sea has receded 200 feet. A tsunami of technologically driven change is coming to the UK education sector, and it is my responsibility to help as many onto their surfboards as possible. I am now working with ten FE colleges and a number of schools in supporting their transition and readiness for the coming change on projects valued up to £20m. More information to follow. Founding Trustee at The Snowday Foundation

Through my experience in working with a large number of disadvantaged children, in 2011 I joined with others to establish the children's charity 'The Snowday Foundation'. The Snowday Foundation undertakes fundraising activities to provide small but memorable experiences such as a visit to McDonalds, or the Cinema, a visit to the beach to children who would not otherwise be able to experience what most take for granted.
